Job summary

ovt, based in Oslo, Norway, seeks an engineer to verify image sensor functions and evaluate image quality, while collaborating with design teams to address design targets and requirements. The role includes developing reference designs, documenting datasheets and app notes, and supporting customers with sensor configuration and tuning.

You will train FAEs, deliver customer demos, and engage in hands-on hardware, firmware, and software activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum BSEE, with an emphasis in Image Science, Color Science or related field. MSEE is a plus.
• Experience of system level hardware, firmware, or software
• Knowledge of functional safety and ISO26262 is a plus.
• Good communication skills
• Excellent English skills, spoken and written

Responsibilities

• Image sensor verification: collaborate with design teams to verify sensor functions and evaluate image quality against targets.
• Image sensor reference design: design testing boards and standard demo boards; review customer designs and create reference designs.
• Create and maintain datasheets, application notes, and deliver information to customers.
• Direct customer support to FAEs and customers; provide sensor configuration and tune image quality per requirements.
• Provide product training to FAE team.
• Perform customer demos.
