Job summary

A leading engineering staffing provider in Norway is seeking an HVAC Package Responsible Engineer for a contract role in Haugesund. You will prepare technical requisitions, evaluate tenders, and coordinate with vendors while ensuring quality and deadlines are met. Ideal candidates have a Master or Bachelor degree and at least three years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years working experience as package responsible engineer for HVAC equipment.
  • Ability to communicate well in English – both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare HVAC technical requisitions and data-sheets for HVAC equipment.
  • Follow-up of the technical part of the HVAC procurement.

Location: Haugesund, possibly Asker

Main tasks
  • Prepare HVAC technical requisitions and data-sheets for HVAC equipment
  • Follow‑up of the technical part of the HVAC procurement
  • Tender evaluation
  • Follow‑up of vendor and HVAC procurement package
  • Coordinate towards vendor and other disciplines
  • Close cooperation with system engineers and area engineers
  • Close cooperation with procurement
  • It could be required to work with system design as well
Qualifications
  • Master or Bachelor
  • Min. 3 years working experience as package responsible engineer for HVAC equipment
  • Ability to work independently and thoroughly as well as ability to work in team
  • Multidisciplinary understanding
  • Good communication skills
  • Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
