Job summary

NES Advantage Solutions is seeking an HVAC Engineer in Stavanger to support Aker Solutions Life Cycle projects. The role focuses on developing HVAC deliverables, capacity assessments, and interface coordination to integrate HVAC requirements into project designs.

Ideal candidates have offshore modification experience, 2D/3D modelling skills, and fluency in Norwegian and English. Office presence is required, with no home-office option.

Qualifications

• MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience.
• Experience from modification projects in the offshore industry, preferably from the North Sea.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
• 2D/3D drawing and modelling skills.
• Software: MIPS, Navisworks/E3D model.
• Offshore course/certificate.
• Available for work in Norway.
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and check HVAC engineering deliverables.
• Perform capacity assessments.
• Coordinate interfaces with HVAC engineers, other disciplines, clients and interfacing parties.
• Contribute to installation method development and testing activities.
• Verify compliance with design specifications and standards.
• Review 3D models and vendor documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and propose optimizations.
• Follow up changes in work packages.
• Prepare and ensure quality of job packages per project requirements.
• Support planning, monitoring and progress reporting of HVAC work.

What will you be doing?

• Development and checking of HVAC engineering deliverables
• Perform capacity assessments
• Communication / interface coordination with HVAC engineers, other disciplines, clients and interfacing parties to integrate HVAC requirements into overall designs
• Contribute to installation method development and testing activitiesas required
• Verifying compliance with applicable design specifications and standards
• Reviewing and checking 3D model and engineering and vendor-documentation
• Participating in design reviews and providing recommendations for optimization and cost-effective solutions
• Follow up and ensure that all changes are implemented in the work packages.
• Prepare and ensure right quality on job packages and that they are according to project requirements.
• Responsible for quality and punctuality for own deliveries, based on plans, procedures and routines established in the project.
• Support with planning, monitoring and progress reporting of HVAC engineering work

Qualifications we think you should have:

• MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience
• Experience from modification projects in the offshore industry, preferably from the North Sea
• In-depth
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
• Preferably 2D/3D drawing and modelling skills
• Software Skills: General IT competence Knowledge of relevant software, e.g. MIPS, Navisworks/E3D model etc.
• Offshore Course: Valid offshore certificate
• Available for work in Norway
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English
