Job summary

A leading engineering company is seeking an experienced individual for a fixed-term assignment in Norway, focused on HVAC systems for large offshore projects. The role involves leading a team, managing project deliverables, and ensuring high standards of design and execution. Candidates should have over 10 years of relevant experience and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively. This opportunity is set from January 2026 to December 2027.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze contracts and specifications, and participate in technical discussions with clients.
  • Lead the HVAC team, managing tasks, deliverables, and project timelines.
  • Prepare foundational documents, including Basis of Design, HVAC Philosophy, and System Descriptions.
  • Develop Schematic Air Flow Diagrams and D&ID drawings.
  • Select HVAC equipment based on capacity calculations and project suitability.
  • Provide senior HVAC expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to construction.
  • Contribute to the 3D model and manage technical follow-up with suppliers.
  • Collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
Required Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience with HVAC systems for large offshore projects, preferably greenfield.
  • Proven experience in a team leadership or discipline lead capacity.
  • Experience across the full project lifecycle, from concept studies to final handover.
  • Thorough familiarity with relevant offshore standards.
  • Proactive mindset with strong communication skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail, as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience with HVDC or wind projects is a significant advantage.
