Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 5 years of supervisory housekeeping/janitorial experience in a healthcare facility.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to schedule and supervise staff effectively.
• Flexibility with work schedules.
• Must enjoy working with the senior population.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure proper cleaning of offices, public spaces, residents' units, and grounds.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with guidelines, complying with MSDS, OSHA, EPA and other rules.
• Coordinate annual deep cleaning programs for resident units and common areas.
• Schedule the preparation of units for admissions.
• Inspect areas regularly and maintain inventory control of supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Schedule and conduct training sessions and department meetings for housekeeping personnel.
• Ability to hire your own staff.

• Coordinating staffing schedules to ensure the proper cleaning of offices, public spaces, residents' units, and grounds
• Using cleaning chemicals safely and properly in accordance with the department guidelines and assuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards, MSDS, OSHA, EPA and other relevant rules and regulations
• Coordinating annual deep cleaning programs for both resident's units and common areas
• Scheduling the preparation of units for admissions
• Conducting regular inspection of all areas and maintaining inventory control systems for all supplies, chemicals, and equipment
• Scheduling and conducting training sessions and department meetings for housekeeping personnel
• Ability to higher your own staff
