Job description
Financial Controller – Fieldmade AS

Join a fast-growing Norwegian tech company shaping the future of global supply chains.

Fieldmade is a Norwegian technology company based in Oslo, on a mission to digitize supply chains through additive manufacturing — enabling customers to produce high-quality, critical parts exactly where and when they are needed.

As we enter an exciting scale‑up phase with strong international growth, we are strengthening our financial foundation and looking for a Financial Controller to join our team. In this key role, you will take ownership of Fieldmade’s financial operations and help build the structure, insight, and control that enable our next stage of expansion.

At Fieldmade, you’ll be part of a passionate, high‑performing team developing technology that transforms how the world produces and delivers critical components — building the factories of the future: mobile, digital, and globally connected.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take operational responsibility for the company’s financial management
  • Oversee and coordinate work with our external accounting partner
  • Project controlling: cost allocation, forecasting, and reporting across multiple ongoing projects
  • Develop and implement sound financial procedures, budgeting and forecasting routines
  • Manage liquidity and cash flow — provide accurate short‑ and medium‑term forecasts
  • Support management and board with financial insight and decision support
  • Participate in the preparation and execution of our upcoming funding rounds.
  • Contribute to pricing models, cost baselines, and commercial offers
  • Act as system owner for Xledger (ERP), and help shape future finance systems and tools
We believe you have:
  • 5+ years of experience as Controller or similar
  • Degree in finance, economics, or accounting – relevant experience can compensate for formal education
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills with clear financial communication
  • Experience from international, industrial, or tech-driven environments
  • Comfortable handling cross‑border operations, currencies, and contracts
  • Proficient in Excel and financial systems (Xledger experience is a plus)
  • Self‑driven, structured, and proactive — able to build structure in a fast‑paced setting
  • Strong communicator who collaborates well across disciplines
  • Curious, reliable, and adaptable to change
  • Fluent in English
What we offer
  • A unique opportunity to be part of one of Norway’s most innovative industrial tech companies
  • A role where you can truly influence how the financial function is built and scaled
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • Flexible working hours and a high degree of autonomy
  • Inclusive, social and informal work environment
  • Regular social activities, company trips, and team events
