Job summary

SummitLab is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Alta team. You will operate bulldozers, excavators and loaders to support construction and maintenance projects, while performing routine maintenance and adhering to safety protocols.

The role requires reading project plans and communicating effectively with crew members. This contract position offers a fixed monthly salary and requires overtime as needed.

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Alta Canada As a Heavy Equipment Operator you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers excavators and loaders to assist with construction and maintenance projects

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
• Safely load and unload materials using heavy equipment
• Ensure proper use of equipment to minimize damage and maximize productivity
• Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors
• Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Keep work areas clean and organized

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
• Knowledge of operating various types of heavy equipment including bulldozers excavators loaders etc
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record
• Ability to read project plans and follow instructions accurately
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Salary

This is a contract position with a salary of $1500 per month
