Job summary

PeakNet in Alta seeks a reliable Contract Truck Driver to join our team. This is a contract position offering 1600$ per month with flexible schedules and competitive pay.

Responsibilities include transporting goods, planning efficient routes, ensuring safe delivery, loading and unloading cargo, and performing routine truck maintenance. CDL is required and independent work and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required.
• Experience as a truck driver is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission trucks.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and procedures.
• Physically fit to load/unload cargo and perform maintenance tasks on the truck.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Contract Truck Driver to join our team in Alta Canada. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and materials from one location to another using a truck
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for deliveries
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of goods to customers
• Load and unload cargo from the truck following all safety procedures
• Perform regular maintenance checks on the truck and report any issues or malfunctions
• Keep accurate records of deliveries mileage fuel consumption and other necessary information
• Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch to provide updates on delivery status

Requirements

• Valid commercial drivers license CDL
• Previous experience as a truck driver is preferred but not required
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission trucks
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and procedures
• Physically fit to handle loadingunloading of cargo and perform regular maintenance tasks on the truck
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
