Job summary

Oslo municipality seeks a skilled Exhibitions Project Leader to drive the department's exhibition projects in Oslo, with responsibility for budgeting, staffing, reporting and strategic development. The role emphasizes integrity, collaboration, and delivering high-quality exhibitions.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership, Norwegian and English communication skills, and a track record in art institutions and interdisciplinary work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the cultural sector, including exhibition production.
• Experience from an art institution.
• Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration and network building.
• Bachelor's degree in project management and/or art and cultural subjects (relevant experience can compensate for lack of education)

Responsibilities

• Lead the section for exhibition project management and day-to-day leadership of the team.
• Oversee budgeting, capacity planning and reporting to department director.
• Develop processes, tools and risk management for exhibition projects.
• Participate in management fora and contribute to strategic decisions.
