Job summary

Sensio is seeking a Head of Enterprise IT to build and develop the Enterprise IT function and create a secure, scalable and modern technology foundation for the organization. You will lead a shift from traditional IT to a modern engineering-driven setup with automation and clear standards.

You will own IT operations, identity, devices, business systems and integrations, and collaborate with developers and business teams to balance technology and needs. Oslo-based with European presence.

Qualifications

• You have a technical background and have led or rebuilt an Enterprise IT, Corporate IT or similar function.
• You know IaC, Git, CI/CD, APIs and cloud well enough to build good solutions and talk easily with developers.
• You know IT changes affect colleagues who deliver around the clock, so you introduce new security measures and routines gradually, monitoring first and enforcing later.
• You build security into how things work, without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
• You enjoy people as much as technology, and can bring both engineers and the business along.
• You have learned from things that didn’t work, and you use that experience to make better decisions.

Responsibilities

• Enable AI across Sensio and establish a secure foundation for teams to reuse capabilities.
• Automate IT operations using automation and Infrastructure as Code to ensure secure and reproducible changes.
• Own Sensio's IT, including identity, devices, business systems and integrations, with emphasis on security and reliability.
• Build and lead the function with scalable roles and processes so IT isn’t dependent on a single individual.

Now we are looking for a Head of Enterprise IT to build and develop our Enterprise IT function and create a secure, scalable and modern technology foundation for the organization.

Your day-to-day

We want Enterprise IT to evolve from traditional IT administration toward a modern engineering-oriented function with strong automation, clear standards and close collaboration with the rest of the technology organization.

• Enable AI across Sensio. You establish the secure foundation that lets teams use AI safely, prototype solutions yourself and create capabilities others can reuse.

• Automate how IT is run. You are comfortable writing automation and Infrastructure as Code yourself, using Git, peer review and engineering practices to make changes secure and reproducible.

• Simplify and prioritize. Understand why things are the way they are, then make them simpler. Challenge what we ask for and be clear about what it takes to reach our goals.

• Own Sensio's IT. From identity and devices to business systems and integrations. You take responsibility for reliable operations, security, and continuous improvement. Set the direction, establish clear ownership, and balance technology with business needs.

• Build and lead the function. Create clear roles and a way of working that scales with us, so IT doesn't depend on one person fixing every problem.

This is what we’re looking for

It’s a plus if you have experience with some of these:

• Identity and devices: Entra ID, Intune, FreeIPA, EDR, across Mac, Windows and Linux

• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, PowerShell

• Compliance: ISO 27001, change management

You don't need to be an expert in everything. Some of the best people we know took a less obvious path to get here.
