Job summary

Nofence is seeking a Hardware Reliability Manager to lead the Hardware Reliability Team, guiding validation, failure analysis, and field testing across products. You will own validation plans from development to mass production and coordinate with engineering and manufacturing to mitigate quality issues.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to travel Nordic and internationally, with work in an English-speaking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or another relevant degree.
• Experience with leading engineering activities within hardware and software.
• Experience with leading cross-functional teams at a technical level.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Proven project management skills.
• Knowledge of international testing standards.

Responsibilities

• Shape the overall validation and quality strategy to match business goals and risk tolerance.
• Lead the Hardware Reliability Team across new and existing products - setting priorities, allocating resources across projects, clearing roadblocks, and keeping the team on track.
• Deliver clear, structured reporting on test progress, pass/fail metrics, and overall quality status.
• Own end-to-end mechanical, electronics, and embedded validation plans from early product development through mass production and failure analysis.
• Serve as a service point for internal stakeholders on validation and product quality.
• Plan, conduct, and execute field testing under real-world operating conditions to validate product performance and catch issue trends early.
• Monitor collar performance in the field after we release the product.
• Coordinate validation activities delivered to the engineering and manufacturing teams.
