Job summary

Kristoffer Collin Hundal is seeking a hands-on Facility Manager to oversee daily operations, maintain high cleaning standards, and manage a portfolio of properties in Tromsø and surrounding areas. You will lead staff, coordinate linen logistics, and supervise maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure quality across all properties.

The role involves planning staff schedules, monitoring labor hours, and optimizing day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Experience from cleaning, property management, hospitality, or similar operational work is an advantage.
• Structured, reliable, and comfortable taking responsibility.
• Hands-on and solution-oriented, with an eye for quality and detail.
• Comfortable coordinating people, schedules, and day-to-day operations.
• Comfortable using digital tools and documentation.
• Flexible and available during the day, including weekends when needed.
• Able to communicate well in Norwegian or English.
• A valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Planning staff schedules, managing labour-hour budgets, and following up on actual hours worked.
• Managing linen logistics, including distribution, stock levels, ordering, returns, and collection.
• Identifying and following up on property issues, defects, and maintenance needs, including coordinating repairs, contractors, and suppliers.
• Ensuring high cleaning standards through training, quality control, and regular inspections of the cleaning team.
• Carrying out regular property inspections, including checks of appliances, lighting, heaters, smoke detectors, and other equipment.
• Documenting and managing guest-related damages and compensation claims, including photos, estimates, invoices, and supporting documentation for Airbnb, Booking.com, insurance providers, or property owners.
• Taking an active part in daily cleaning operations to lead by example and maintain a strong understanding of day-to-day operations.
