Job summary

McDonald’s HQs seeks a Group Finance & IFRS Controller based in Oslo to bridge Group Finance, FP&A, and business stakeholders. The role combines IFRS reporting, governance, and G&A controlling with hands-on accounting responsibilities.

Ideal candidates will have a Big 4 background or similar finance experience and be fluent in English for applications. Some Nordic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant finance experience.
• Experience in financial reporting, controlling, auditing, or Group Finance.
• Good understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Experience from multinational organizations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Participates in Group Finance activities including IFRS reporting, annual report preparation, statutory reporting, note disclosures, audit coordination and consolidation support.
• Drive daily accounting and administration of the Group holding entities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Supports tax-related matters, including transfer pricing documentation and intercompany coordination.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial follow-up of Group G&A functions.
• Develops Jedox reporting and planning processes and supports dashboards and management reports.
