Job summary

Nord Gas Solutions in Asker, Norway, seeks a proactive Treasury Controller to own daily treasury operations across our international project business. You will manage cash, liquidity, payments, FX and banking relationships, with hands-on ownership of treasury systems.

You will report to Head of Treasury and work across Norway, Sweden, Poland and UAE. The role emphasizes initiative, accuracy and ability to improve processes while collaborating across functions.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, economics or accounting.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in treasury, cash management or corporate banking.
• Hands-on experience with daily cash positioning and liquidity forecasting, including project cash flows.
• Practical knowledge of FX instruments.
• Experience with controlled payment execution and awareness of fraud and payment-error risks.
• Familiarity with KYC, UBO requirements, bank compliance, bank connectivity.
• Strong Excel skills and fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• FX and hedging execution: execute hedge transactions, rollovers, realizations and new hedges within the mandate.
• Cash and liquidity: prepare and monitor daily cash position across entities and the cash pool; build liquidity forecasts; support funding and intercompany loans.
• Payments and controls: support bank channels, payment formats, and controls surrounding payment infrastructure; administer corporate card programme and help identify fraud risks.
• Banks, systems and governance: be the day-to-day contact for banks; maintain KYC/UBO records; own treasury management system and transition from SAP toward IFS; draft treasury policies and process docs.
• Service-provider follow‑up: oversee external accounting provider’s delivery for asset-deal countries, including monthly payroll funding and month-end follow-up.
