Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO Cargoscan AS is seeking a Procurement Engineer to drive sourcing of precision components and services for our advanced measurement instruments in Oslo. You will partner with R&D, Engineering, Quality and Production to secure materials that meet our quality and regulatory standards.

You will evaluate technical drawings, negotiate with suppliers, manage orders and supplier performance, use SAP ECC, and ensure sustainability within the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Experience sourcing suppliers and negotiating pricing.
• Experience solving supply chain issues and coordinating with engineering/production.
• Production environment experience.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes and ERP-driven maintenance.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office; SAP ECC is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex technical specifications and drawings for precision instruments.
• Source, evaluate and qualify suppliers for high-quality components and services.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery terms and purchase agreements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production to meet requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions.
