Job summary

Helse Sør-øst RHF seeks an anaesthesiologist for a Malawi assignment of 3 to 7 months, with start windows in February or August 2027. You will support and supervise QECH anaesthesia registrars, contribute to ICU care, and engage in clinical teaching.

Qualifications

• Publicly approved anaesthesia specialist authorization.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical practice in anaesthesia.
• English fluency in written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside clinical work in anaesthesia and critical care.
• Supervise anaesthesia registrars and participate in teaching.
• Contribute to the intensive care unit and regional/centralised services as needed.

Education
