Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Functional Safety professional for a contract period from 14 October 2026 to 30 December 2027. The role covers Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Kårstø with travel expected.

You will review documents, address NCRs, provide design advisory, and manage SoWs and stakeholders both internally and externally. Qualified candidates will have IEC 61508/11 experience, LOPA, and related safety studies, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Experience with functional safety standards (IEC 61508/11).
• Knowledge of hazard analysis and risk assessment methods.
• Ability to review NCRs and participate in design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Document review, handling of NCRs, design advisor, SoW, stakeholder management internally/externally.
• Willingness to travel as required.
