Qualifications

  • Backend experience with Java, Kotlin, or Go.
  • Familiarity with databases, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm.
  • Strong communication skills in English.

About the role

Are you a fullstack engineer with a passion for frontend development and solving real-time operational challenges? Join the Mission Control team at Instabee’s Oslo office and help us build the tools that power flawless deliveries and real-world logistics.

Some of the things you’ll do
  • Build, own, and run frontend and backend services with full codebase responsibility
  • Design intuitive, scalable frontend experiences and map complex logistics into simple UI flows
  • Lead frontend development from idea to deployment, ensuring high-quality standards
  • Participate in architecture discussions and guide both technical and product direction
  • Collaborate with product and operations teams to meet real user needs
  • Continuously improve usability, performance, and responsiveness of the product
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, with a focus on frontend growth and knowledge sharing
Your future team

The Mission Control team is responsible for real-time monitoring of our operational quality and incident handling. We directly influence KPIs like accuracy, delivery success, and cost—and we get to see our code in action, interacting with physical operations.

You’ll join a friendly, collaborative team of an Engineering Manager, four developers, a Product Manager, and a Principal Engineer. We value knowledge sharing, team decision-making, and having fun while solving big challenges together.

What we’re looking for
  • Several years of experience in modern tech environments, especially with frontend technologies (React, TypeScript)
  • Experience building applications using React and TypeScript

  • Backend experience with Java, Kotlin, or Go
  • Familiarity with databases, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions

  • Strong communication skills in English
