Job description
Overview

General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is seeking a registered pharmacist with an interest in education and assessment for the role of Senior Registration Assessment Officer. The role uses pharmacy expertise to support the quality and development of the national registration assessment and contribute to shaping the future of pharmacy practice.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and maintenance of internal policies and procedures.
  • Manage the question bank and provide project management support for the Board of Assessors and the Reasonable Adjustments Panel.
  • Ensure quality assurance for registration assessments and develop assessment material.
  • Provide coaching to question writers and standard setters.
  • Project manage external contractors’ activities, anticipating and managing risks effectively.
  • Support the Professional Assessment Manager, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of work.

This role supports flexible working and job share arrangements where appropriate and is subject to a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Registered pharmacist with extensive UK pharmacist experience, preferably in multiple sectors.
