AI will also play an important role in where we take the product next. We believe there is a significant opportunity to rethink how property operations are done today, using AI not as a layer on top of the product, but as an increasingly integrated part of how users work in Propely.

For our engineering team, that creates an interesting combination: building new product experiences while continuously improving the technology underneath them.

We are therefore growing the team with developers who want to take real ownership of what they build and work across the product rather than on one small piece of it.

What you’ll do

As a Full Stack Developer at Propely, you will work across the entire product, from understanding a problem and shaping the solution to building, shipping, and improving it in production.

We are a relatively small product team, which means developers are close to both the users, the product decisions, and the technology. You will have room to influence how things are built, challenge existing solutions, and take ownership beyond simply implementing predefined tasks.

You will:

Build features end-to-end. Work across frontend, backend, APIs, and data to take ideas from problem to production.

Build the next generation of Propely with AI. Help explore and build AI-driven capabilities that can fundamentally improve how property professionals work.

Solve real user problems. Understand how property managers and operators work, and translate complex workflows into products that make their everyday work simpler.

Shape the technical solution. Take part in architectural and technical decisions and have a real say in how the platform evolves.

Build for a growing platform. Help improve performance, reliability, and scalability as Propely grows across customers, properties, integrations, and markets.

Work closely with product and design. Collaborate from the earliest stages of an idea rather than receiving finished specifications to implement.

Take ownership in production. Care about what happens after something is shipped and continuously improve the features and systems you work on.

Contribute to how we build software. Take part in code reviews, testing, CI/CD, observability, and the engineering practices that help us move quickly without compromising quality.

Our core stack is React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Google Cloud Platform, but we care more about strong engineering fundamentals and your ability to learn than whether you have worked with every technology we use today.

Who we think will thrive here

We are looking for developers who enjoy working across the stack and taking ownership beyond the code itself. You might have a full-stack background, or lean more towards frontend or backend.

What matters most is that you:

Have experience building modern web applications in production

Are comfortable working across different parts of a product and want to develop further as a full-stack engineer

Are curious about AI and emerging technologies, and excited about turning new capabilities into useful products that solve real problems

Enjoy taking ownership from problem to shipped solution

Care about building software that is reliable, maintainable, and useful

Like solving product problems as much as technical ones

Are comfortable making decisions and moving forward without having every detail defined upfront

Enjoy working closely with designers, product people, and other engineers

Want to work in an environment where your ideas and technical decisions can have a visible impact

Experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, cloud platforms, SaaS products, or startup/scaleup environments is an advantage, but we do not expect you to tick every box.
