Jefferson Frank in Oslo is expanding its frontend team to build a modern, customer-facing platform using React and TypeScript. You will collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to shape user experience and technical direction.

The role focuses on creating high-performance, accessible interfaces, participating in architecture decisions, and maintaining clean, well-tested code. A flexible hybrid work model and central Oslo office are offered.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience developing React applications.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress is beneficial.

With a strong product focus and ambitious growth plans, they're looking for a Frontend Developer who enjoys building intuitive, high-performance applications using React.

You'll join a collaborative team of experienced engineers, designers, and product specialists, playing a key role in shaping both the user experience and the technical direction of the platform.

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing modern web applications using React and TypeScript
• Building responsive, user-friendly interfaces with a strong focus on performance and accessibility
• Collaborating closely with UX designers, backend developers, and product teams
• Contributing to architectural discussions and frontend best practices
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Continuously improving the frontend development process and tooling

What We're Looking For

• Commercial experience developing applications with React
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query
• Understanding of responsive design and accessibility principles
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress is beneficial
• Exposure to modern CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js
• Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience working within Agile development teams
