Dex is building the data foundation of a fast-growing AI-native marketplace. This founding role owns the data models, pipelines and the platform that powers every team and its agents.

You’ll model data at the source, maintain reliable pipelines and partner on critical metrics. It’s a hands-on, cross-functional role with significant impact, equity and the chance to shape how Dex uses data to win.

Qualifications

• Built the data foundation for a consumer product or marketplace at scale.
• Engineer and analyst: can model, pipe data and read business signals.
• Comfortable reading and altering unfamiliar codebase.
• Fluent in a modern analytics stack (cloud warehouse, transformation, orchestration, BI).
• Commercial and product minded; cares about the metrics behind decisions.
• Think platform, not one-off answers; build reusable data assets.
• Intelligent, ambitious with strong judgment and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Core data modelling: design and own core data models, clean and trusted.
• Modelling at source: capture and structure data from the start.
• Pipelines: build and maintain data pipelines across systems.
• Self-serve platform: enable teams and agents to answer questions independently.
• Agents as consumers: structure data for agent analytics at scale.
• Metrics that matter: collaborate on acquisition, activation, matching quality etc.
• Answers, not just queries: translate business questions into data models and metrics.
• Standards: set data quality, definitions and instrumentation across Dex.
