You will meet with clients, choose flowers, create hand-tied bouquets, centerpieces, and wreaths, and ensure timely setup at venues.

Floral Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Floral Designer to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating stunning flower arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, parties, and events.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with clients to discuss their floral needs and preferences
• Choosing the appropriate flowers, colors, and arrangements based on client requirements
• Creating unique and visually appealing designs using different techniques such as hand-tied bouquets, centerpieces, and wreaths
• Ordering and purchasing flowers from suppliers while adhering to budget constraints
• Preparing flowers by cutting stems, removing thorns, and conditioning them for longevity
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the work area and ensuring all tools are properly sanitized
• Delivering and setting up arrangements at event venues or client's location
• Providing exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from clients

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Floral Designer or similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of different types of flowers and their care instructions is essential
• Strong creativity and artistic skills with an eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with clients
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work without accommodation in Alta, Norway
