Fitter - Urgent Position in Svalbard

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team in the beautiful city of Svalbard. This is an urgent position that requires someone who can start immediately.

As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing various mechanical systems and equipment. This includes reading and interpreting blueprints, performing maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. You must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Fitter and possess strong technical knowledge and problem‑solving skills.

This is a physically demanding job that requires excellent manual dexterity and the ability to work in confined spaces. You must also be able to work at heights and have a good understanding of safety regulations. The ideal candidate will also have experience with welding, soldering, and other metalworking techniques.

As this position does not include accommodation, we are looking for candidates who are already located in Svalbard or are willing to relocate at their own expense. However, we do offer visa sponsorship for international candidates if needed.
