Job summary

TransaLink in Bergen, Norway is seeking a skilled Fitter to assemble, install, and maintain machinery in our production facility. The ideal candidate has proven experience, strong technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, assembling machines, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring a safe work environment. English skills are required; Norwegian is a plus. Accommodation is provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role.
• Technical knowledge of machinery installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects or stand for extended periods.
• English language skills; Norwegian language skills are a plus.
• Valid work permit or EU citizenship.

Requirements
