Job summary

Onyx Technologies Group in Norway seeks a Finance and Operations Officer to bring order to the finance and operating routines supporting the Group's businesses. The role is a Hybrid Full-time position within Onyx Corporate Services.

You will maintain records, coordinate routine finance activity, support budgets and reconciliations, and ensure operating information is prepared for management decisions, enabling timely, accurate reporting and decision making across the Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Strong numeracy and detail orientation with record-keeping discipline.
• Experience with accounting software and reconciliations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate operating records, reconciliations, and routine finance reports.
• Coordinate invoices, purchasing, supplier administration, and payment documentation.
• Support budgeting, expense tracking, stock or asset records, and internal controls.
• Prepare information for management review and follow up on operational exceptions.
• Help teams follow dependable processes and keep records ready for review.

About The Role

Where you will make an impact

This role supports the financial discipline and day-to-day operating control behind the Group. You will keep records current, coordinate routine finance activity, support budgets and reconciliations, and make sure operating information is ready when management needs to make a decision.

What we are looking for

Role requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong numeracy, attention to detail, spreadsheet skills, and a clear approach to records management.
• Experience with accounting software, reconciliations, procurement, or office operations is an advantage.
• ICAG, ACCA, CIMA, QuickBooks, Sage, or advanced Microsoft Excel certification is an advantage.
