Job summary

Intertek Italia is seeking a Wellhead Inspector to join our field operations in Stavanger, Norway. The role focuses on inspecting wellhead equipment to ensure quality, integrity, and compliance with API 6A and client specifications.

You will work on-site, perform visual, dimensional, and pressure tests, and prepare detailed reports. The ideal candidate has a technical background, 2–5 years of oilfield inspection experience, and knowledge of OEM equipment.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or high school graduation; engineering background preferred.
• API 6A, API Q1/Q2 or equivalent certifications preferred.
• NDT Level II certifications considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of wellhead equipment and components.
• Verify compliance with API 6A, API Q1/Q2, ISO and client specs.
• Conduct visual, dimensional, and pressure testing of components.
• Review certifications, manufacturing records, and docs.
• Identify non-conformances and report accordingly.
• Generate inspection reports and NCRs with traceability.
• Collaborate with QA/QC, service, and drilling teams on-site.
• Follow HSE policies and safe inspection practices.
