Job summary

Qatar Wellness Network is seeking a Facade Engineer to design and maintain exterior building envelopes in Svalbard. You will work with architects and contractors to ensure feasible, safe facade solutions and oversee installation to meet design plans.

The role requires a civil engineering/architecture background with 2+ years in facade design or construction, solid knowledge of building codes, and strong AutoCAD skills. Team collaboration and independent work are essential for success.

Qualifications

Job description

As a Facade Engineer you will be responsible for designing constructing and maintaining the external building envelope of structures in Svalbard This includes walls windows doors and other elements that contribute to the overall aesthetic and functionality of a building Your role will involve working closely with architects contractors and other engineers to ensure that all aspects of the facade are properly designed and implemented

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough assessments of building facades and identifying any potential issues or areas for improvement
• Creating detailed design plans for new construction projects or renovations to existing facades
• Collaborating with architects and contractors to ensure that all design plans are feasible and meet safety standards
• Overseeing construction teams during the installation of facade elements to ensure proper implementation according to design plans
• Conducting regular inspections of completed facades to identify any necessary repairs or maintenance needs
• Staying up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in facade technology to continuously improve design processes

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Architecture or related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience in facade design or construction

Salary This is a contract job with a salary of $1000 per month
