Job summary

Vår Energi is seeking experienced project control and estimating professionals to strengthen our project organization and support the development and delivery of major offshore projects. You will join a highly skilled project controls and estimating team, working alongside experienced colleagues across projects and disciplines.

The team plays a key role in planning, forecasting, and decision support throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree within Engineering, Economics, Finance or related discipline.
• Experience from project, engineering, business or commercial environments within Oil and Gas.
• Proven track record with estimating, project controls, planning, cost management or related disciplines.
• Proactive in exploring how digital tools, automation and AI can simplify work.
• For Project Control Lead, experience leading small teams.

About the positions

We are looking for experienced project control & estimating professionals to strengthen our project organization and support the successful development and delivery of major offshore projects.

You will join a highly skilled project controls and estimating team, working alongside experienced colleagues across projects and disciplines. The team plays a key role in planning, forecasting, and decision support throughout the project lifecycle.

The roles will help shape how projects are planned, estimated and managed across the project lifecycle. You will work closely with project teams and leadership, providing insights that support good decisions, strong project performance and successful delivery.

Depending on your background and experience, you may work within project controls, estimating and cost management for our offshore projects.

Part of the role is continuously looking for better ways of working, simplifying processes, reducing unnecessary complexity and making good use of digital tools, automation and AI where they add real value.

Background and experience

• Relevant university degree within Engineering, Economics, Finance or a related discipline
• Experience from project, engineering, business or commercial environments within the Oil and Gas industry
• Proven track record with estimating, project controls, planning, cost management or related disciplines
• Proactive in exploring how digital tools, automation and AI can simplify work, improve quality and support better decisions
• For a Project Control Lead position, you have experience leading small teams and helping them perform at their best
