Royal Mencap Society is seeking an Executive Personal Assistant to support the Directors and leadership teams. The role offers part-time hours (30 per week) with flexibility on location and minimal travel to London and other locations for team connectivity.
The successful candidate will manage diaries, coordinate meetings and events, take minutes and support senior leaders with confidentiality and discretion, helping priorities stay on track in a busy organisation.

As an Executive Personal Assistant you will be at the heart of the directorate's business operations and activities, taking ownership of the people and business needs of the Directors and the leadership teams. You will be anticipating the needs of the Directors and their team members and help them stay focused on their priorities by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. You will oversee the busy and ever-changing diaries of the Directors, prioritising meetings and scheduling time for reading, thinking and preparing as well as working with absolute discretion to ensure that the executive directors have everything they need to be effective and visible leaders.

You'll be highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, confidently changing direction and re-prioritising when needed. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll be working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, tailoring your approach and messaging to different audiences.
You'll have experience coordinating projects, meetings and key events, ensuring actions are tracked and delivered effectively. Confidence in taking minutes and supporting senior leaders through excellent administrative and organisational skills is important.
