Job summary

SEE Purpose is seeking a Part-Time Evening Mental Health Primary Therapist to help adults with dual diagnosis in a in-person setting. The role includes diagnostic assessments, formulating treatment plans, and updating plans as needed, with clinical responsibility for ongoing care.

Requires a Master’s in a behavioral health field and active licensure to practice in California plus CPR certification. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in a treatment setting and be able to manage

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in a behavioral/mental health field.
• Licensure to practice as a therapist in California (current/active) and CPR certification required.
• 1 year of experience in a treatment setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clinical responsibility for therapeutic treatment of clients with severe substance use and mental health problems.
• Provides diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and necessary updates.
• Manages caseload with compliance; open inactive cases must not exceed 10% of total caseload.
• Participates in peer consultations, staff meetings and continuing education; supervision/signatures as required.

Education

Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy, counseling, social work or a related behavioral/mental health field
