Barista - Coffee Specialist

Location: Oslo, Norway

We are a bustling cafe in the heart of Oslo seeking an experienced Barista to join our team. As a coffee specialist you will be responsible for crafting and serving the perfect cup of coffee to our customers. You must have a passion for coffee and a strong knowledge of different brewing methods and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes and more
• Ensure consistent quality in all drinks served
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Take and fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions and making recommendations
• Educate customers on our products and brewing methods
• Handle cash transactions and operate POS system
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies

Requirements

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is required
• Passion for coffee with knowledge of different brewing methods and techniques
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide an exceptional experience for each customer
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Team player with excellent communication skills
