Job Title Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Alta Norway In this role you will be responsible for the performance integrity and security of our companys database systems The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in database management as well as excellent problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database structures and schemas
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Ensure data security and integrity through regular backups and maintenance
• Collaborate with other teams to optimize database usage and improve overall system efficiency
• Develop and implement procedures for data protection and disaster recovery
• Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of SQL language database design and data management principles
• Familiarity with cloud-based databases eg AWS Azure
• Experience with data backup recovery and security protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Salary

The salary for this position is 1400$ per month
