Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines.
• Read blueprints or drawings to determine the size and shape of the metal parts.
• Measure and mark dimensions using measuring instruments.
• Cut or shape metal pieces using hand tools or machine tools.
• Smooth and finish surfaces using files, grinding wheels or other tools.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
• Maintain machines by cleaning, lubricating, and performing basic maintenance tasks.
