Job summary

Experienced Turner in Alta Norway

We are currently seeking an experienced Turner to join our team in Alta Norway. As a Turner you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines and tools used for shaping metal parts according to specifications. This is a full time position with a competitive salary of 1200$.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various machines such as lathes milling machines drills and grinders to shape metal parts
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the proper dimensions and tolerances for the parts
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of the finished products
• Troubleshoot any issues with equipment or materials and make necessary adjustments or repairs
• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Turner is required
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Good physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree or certification in machining or similar field
• Experience working with CNC machinery is a plus
