Job summary

Nevis Wealth is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to be the technical counterpart for large wealth-management clients. You will learn client workflows, translate them into deployments, and own the technical side from workshop through go-live and expansion.

You will work with clients and their engineers to integrate data, configure AI agents, and deliver fast prototypes. Travel and onsite work are expected, and a STEM degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in forward deployed/solutions engineering or similar customer-facing role at a high-growth tech company.
• Python and SQL are second nature; comfortable with APIs and real-world data.
• Experience deploying LLMs and agentic tooling in production; know where they are reliable.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical side of enterprise deployments end to end, from scoping to go-live and expansion.
• Be the customer's main technical point of contact, collaborating with their engineers and operations teams.
• Translate customer workflows into Nevis builds, configurations and automations.
• Design and deliver integrations and data flows with the engineering teams to get the pipes right.
• Configure and deploy AI agents and workflows, tuning them for production use.
• Build fast prototypes and demos to illustrate what's possible before building.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in live deployments and set realistic expectations with customers.
• Partner with Deployment Strategists on the commercial relationship, providing the technical grounding to win and grow accounts.
• Contribute learnings back into the product roadmap for future customers.
