Job summary

Sportradar’s Audiovisual unit seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the AV Analytics squad, guiding end-to-end streaming analytics and BI data delivery for global customers. You’ll mentor engineers, shape architecture, and leverage Java, Spring, Kubernetes, and AWS to extract insights from large datasets.

Based in Trondheim with a 5-day office-based model, you’ll collaborate across offices in Oslo, Vienna, Munich and Warsaw, focusing on data models, performance, and scalable cloud-native

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree in software development.
• Excellent knowledge of Java and frameworks like Spring and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS products and services (Redshift, S3, Aurora, EKS, ElastiCache).
• Interest in learning ClickHouse analytical database.
• Experience in leading a team of engineers and being a line manager.
• Analytical mindset for structuring large datasets and extracting patterns.
• Motivation for software product development and high-performance software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and structure large datasets in our cloud data warehouse.
• Work with a modern stack: Java, SpringBoot, EKS, MySQL, Redshift/ClickHouse.
• Prototype, develop proof-of-concept tools, and production-ready software.
• Lead the AV Analytics squad and collaborate with product teams.
• Develop cloud-native applications and influence design/technology choices.
• Collaborate daily using Cursor, GitLab, and JIRA.
