Job summary

CHC Helicopter is seeking an engineer/skilled worker for our Bergen base. You will maintain airworthiness, ensure quality, and certify maintenance within your authority while complying with safety and documentation standards.

The role requires avionics expertise, EASA B1.3/B2 licenses, and preferably type experience on Sikorsky S92 or AW189. Proficiency in English and Norwegian is essential, with AMOS MRO experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Skilled worker certificate avionics or aircraft mechanic.
• EASA Licensed B1.3 and/or B2 Engineer.
• Applicants with type ratings for Sikorsky S92 and/or AW189 preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Norwegian (or other Scandinavian language).
• Experience of AMOS MRO software is an advantage.
• Awareness of MSDS and COSHH requirement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain required authorisations for aircraft and components in their area.
• Ensure quality of work by themselves and/or non-certifying technicians under supervision.
• Accurately compile documentation and certify maintenance within authority scope.
• Ensure documentation used during maintenance has correct revision status.
• Stay current with amendments to Company Procedures/Manuals and other technical data.
• Ensure all tools used are properly controlled.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the work area under their control.
• Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Update company IT systems and report properly.
• May perform other duties within responsibilities.

CHC Helikopter Services are now looking to recruit for multiple roles as Technicians and/or Skilled Workers at our base located in Bergen.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining the required authorisations for aircraft and aircraft components maintained in their area.
• Responsible for the quality of work carried out by themselves and/or non-certifying technicians under their supervision.
• Responsible for the accurate compilation of documentation and the certification of maintenance carried out within the scope of their authority.
• Ensuring that all documentation used during maintenance is of the correct revision status.
• Ensuring that they remain current with all amendments to Company Procedures/Manuals and all other relevant technical data provisioned.
• Ensuring that all tools used during maintenance are properly controlled.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area's under their control.
• Work in compliance with the company's Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Ensure that the company IT systems are updated, and ensure proper reporting.
• May perform other duties as assigned within areas of responsibility.
