Job summary

CHC Helicopter Service AS is seeking Technicians and/or Skilled Workers for our Sola base in Norway. You will maintain aircraft authorisations and ensure quality of maintenance with proper documentation and reporting, supported by a compliant team in a dynamic environment.

Applicants should hold a skilled worker certificate in avionics or aircraft mechanics and an EASA B1.3 and/or B2 license where possible. English proficiency is required; Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is a plus.

• EASA Licensed B1.3 and/or B2 Engineer preferred.
• Good English and Norwegian (or other Scandinavian language) skills preferred.

Role Summary

CHC Helicopter Service AS is looking to recruit for multiple roles as Technicians and/or Skilled Workers at our base located in Sola (Stavanger).

• Responsible for maintaining the required authorisations for aircraft and aircraft components maintained in their area
• Responsible for the quality of work carried out by themselves and/or non-certifying technicians under their supervision
• Responsible for the accurate compilation of documentation and the certification of maintenance carried out within the scope of their authority
• Ensuring that all documentation used during maintenance is of the correct revision status
• Ensuring that they remain current with all amendments to Company Procedures/Manuals and all other relevant technical data provisioned
• Ensuring that all tools used during maintenance are properly controlled.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area's under their control
• Work in compliance with the company's Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
• Ensure that the company IT systems are updated, and ensure proper reporting
• May perform other duties as assigned within areas of responsibility

Essential

• Skilled worker certificate avionics or aircraft mechanic
• EASA Licensed B1.3 and / or B2 Engineer

Desirable

• Applicants with type ratings for Sikorsky S92 and/or AW189 will be preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Norwegian (or other Scandinavian language)
• Good computer skills.
• Experience of AMOS MRO software is an advantage
• Awareness of MSDS and COSHH requirement
