Job summary

MaineHealth Emergency Medical Services is seeking an EMT-Basic for the Norway, ME base. The position delivers basic life support in pre-hospital and interfacility transfer settings, working closely with the ER team at MaineHealth Stephens Hospital and other care partners.

Qualifications include EMT-Basic completion, current EMT-B license, valid driver’s license, and BLS certification. Per diem shifts vary, with schedules outlined in the Additional Information section.

Qualifications

• Completion of EMT-basic course.
• Current applicable state EMT-Basic license required; Valid Driver’s License required.
• Current BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• The EMT-Basic role provides basic life support during emergency pre-hospital and interfacility transfer care per state and local protocols.
• Care is delivered with the MaineHealth EMS team and collaborates with MaineHealth Stephens Hospital staff.
