Job summary

We are Buchanan, a newly merged transatlantic law firm, is seeking an Employment Associate in London with 2-4 PQE. The role offers a broad mix of contentious, advisory and transactional work, with opportunities to handle Employment Tribunal matters and cross-border transactions.

The successful candidate will work within a team with a large international platform and a US connection, advising on employment issues for UK and North American clients and contributing to growth as the firm evolves.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Employment Tribunal experience
• Exposure to transactional Employment matters
• Strong technical knowledge combined with sound commercial judgement
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills
• Entrepreneurial interest in building client relationships

Responsibilities

• Expose and handle a broad Employment practice across contentious, advisory and transactional work
• Take ownership of matters and manage end-to-end processes
• Advise clients on complex employment issues and represent in tribunals when required
• Support domestic and cross-border employment transactions alongside corporate teams
