Job summary

CTS Nordics AS seeks an Electrical Supervisor to oversee day-to-day electrical installation across assigned areas, ensuring compliance with design, safety and quality standards. You will coordinate crews and subcontractors, track progress and prepare completed work for handover to the project team.

The role requires at least 5 years of electrical supervision on large construction projects, experience with HV/LV systems, knowledge of Norwegian standards, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of electrical supervision experience on large construction projects.
• Experience with high- and low-voltage systems, switchgear, containment, cable installation and terminations.
• Technical diploma or degree in electrical engineering, building services or a related field. An electrical qualification valid in Norway is an advantage.
• Understanding of installation and testing sequences in mission-critical environments. Data centre, industrial or critical infrastructure experience is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Norwegian electrical standards and safety codes; fluent English is beneficial.

• Coordinate subcontractors and establish safe, productive workfronts with access, materials, information and sequencing.
• Track daily progress and report constraints, resources, risks and delays to the Electrical Package Manager.
• Check installation against drawings and specs; identify defects and coordinate corrections with QA/QC.
• Coordinate with MEP, civil, structural teams and commissioning for phased system handover.
• Enforce HSE requirements and electrical safety controls, including lockout/tagout and permits.

Reports to the Electrical Package Manager, with direct supervision of designated electrical teams and subcontractor workfronts.

• Supervise electrical installation, including containment, cable routing, grounding, switchgear, cabling and terminations within the assigned scope.
• Coordinate subcontractors and establish safe, productive workfronts with the required access, materials, information and task sequencing.
• Track daily progress against short-term plans; report constraints, resource needs, risks and delays to the Electrical Package Manager.
• Check installation against approved drawings and specifications; identify defects early and coordinate corrections with QA/QC.
