Currently, we are recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor (m/w/d).
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation works on a data centre or other mission-critical construction project in Norway. You will ensure that electrical systems are installed safely, in line with approved drawings and specifications, and in accordance with the project programme. You will coordinate installation teams and subcontractors and work closely with site management and the commissioning team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day electrical installation activities, allocating work and keeping subcontractors and labour aligned with programme priorities.
- Check that electrical installations match approved MEP drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and specifications, and raise queries or discrepancies promptly.
- Operate and enforce permit-to-work systems, electrical isolation procedures, and safe systems of work on site.
- Review RAMS and method statements, and deliver toolbox talks and site inductions as required.
- Support the five-stage commissioning process (L1–L5), ensuring electrical installation records, inspection and test documentation, and handover packs are complete and accurate.
- Monitor installation quality, record snags and defects, and coordinate close-out before handover.
- Track daily and weekly progress against the programme and report progress, risks, and delays to site management.
- Coordinate electrical works with other trades, site management, and commissioning teams to ensure interfaces are managed effectively.
- Maintain housekeeping, safety, security, and controlled-access standards, particularly where works are in or adjacent to live environments.
- Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately, and support investigations.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience supervising electrical installation on data centre or comparable mission‑critical projects.
- A recognised supervisory safety qualification, such as SSSTS, IOSH Managing Safely, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of permit‑to‑work systems, electrical isolation procedures, and safe systems of work.
- Understanding of the five‑stage commissioning process and its documentation requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/MEP drawings, schematics, and single‑line diagrams.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Desirable
- An electrical trade background or relevant installation experience.
- Experience working in Nordic or Arctic conditions.
- Experience working within or adjacent to live data centre environments.
- Norwegian language capability.
- First aid at work qualification and/or appointed‑person training for lifting operations.
Personal Attributes
- Calm, practical, and direct, with a strong safety‑first mindset.
- Confident leading multinational teams and managing subcontractors.
- Organised, with a disciplined approach to documentation and close‑out.
- Willing to work in remote locations and on a rotation pattern.

- Rotational work schedule (21/1)
