Your role and responsibilities

As an Electrical Engineer you will be at the forefront of engineering full electric solutions for both newbuild and retrofit ships and offshore installations. You’ll work with battery and hybrid technologies, switchboards, transformers, generators – contributing directly to the electrification of the marine industry. The role demands broad technical knowledge and a hands‑on attitude in a versatile work environment where technology is constantly explored and applied. To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
  • A Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Professional experience within the marine sector, especially in offshore and ships
  • A structured and practical way of working with a hands‑on attitude
  • Knowledge within electrical engineering programmes
  • Good communication skills in English and Norwegian, written and spoken
