Zusammenfassung

Balchem in Oslo seeks an experienced HSE Manager to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of local health, safety and environmental activities across two sites, including a new top‑modern facility. You will drive the EHS agenda, ensure regulatory compliance and foster a strong safety culture.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will conduct inspections, establish procedures, manage risk programs and oversee permits while building a proactive safety mindset among staff.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in EHS in industrial sector (chemical/pharma/food)
• University degree in safety/environmental field or HSSE qualifications
• Strong understanding of Process Safety and Environmental Controls
• Norwegian Armed Forces background considered
• Broad knowledge of Norwegian/European EHS regulations
• Fluency in Norwegian (or Scandinavian language) and English

Aufgaben

• Performs periodic EHS inspections and compliance audits.
• Establishes and maintains up-to-date EHS procedures, SOPs and training requirements.
• Provides recommendations to improve safety and environmental procedures.
• Deploy and enhance Environmental Risks Management Programs (air emissions, waste management, wastewater).
• Maintains emergency contingency plans and SDS requirements.
