Naimar is establishing a joint NATO/EU-Ukrainian UAV training centre based in Norway. The Head of Centre will build the organisation, lead pilots and instructors, and ensure safe, high-standard training, testing and demonstrations for armed forces and industry.

The ideal candidate is a former Norwegian armed forces officer or senior NCO with 10+ years and a track record of building new military units or programs. Knowledge of drone ops, BVLOS and export controls is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of large teams or programs.
• Experience establishing new military units or training programs.
• High integrity with handling sensitive information.

Responsabilités

• Launch and lead the centre: set up the organisation, recruit the team, plan operations and handle safety and daily running.
• Recruit, lead and support the pilots and instructors who deliver training, test flights and customer demonstrations.
• Oversee course content, instructor standards and quality of delivery.
• Build relationships with the Armed Forces, Home Guard, defence procurement and research bodies, ranges and industry.
• Work closely with Ukrainian instructors and international partners.
• Make sure all activity follows aviation, security and export-control rules.
