Job Description:
The Director of Finance and Administration contributes to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial tasks. The role is part of the local management team in the Nordics. He/she provides financial advice and support to help management make key decisions.
Your tasks:
- Monthly closure
- Yearly Budget / Monthly Forecast reporting
- Half Year and Year End closure
- Litigations and legal cases management
- Facility and Car Fleet Management
- Business Partner for specific customer requests (tenders, contracts, payments)
- Local Owner of the ICS process and Kardex policies
Main Accountabilities:
- Lead all aspects of Finance and Administration for Nordic operations.
- Provide financial insights for strategic planning and influence operational decisions, including P&L management, balance sheet, and ROIC.
- Oversee local accounting, reporting, tax, and legal matters.
- Participate in strategic planning discussions.
- Manage and lead the local F&A team.
- Ensure strong financial controls, measurements, and systems oversight.
- Maintain fiscal integrity and ensure compliance with company processes and procedures.
- Lead process improvements in forecast planning with Sales and Lifecycle Service functions.
- Collaborate with Regional F&A Director and other team members to support change initiatives.
- Maintain relationships with other local Directors for information exchange.
- Coordinate with regional F&A team.
- Manage Legal Entity along with fellow Local Directors.
Your profile:
Training/Education:
- Master’s degree in Finance & Accounting or Economics, or
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting
Professional Experience:
- 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles in an international environment
Other:
- Profound knowledge of Nordic GAAP is essential
- Experience with SWISS GAAP FER is an asset
- Operational HR management experience is an asset
- Fluent in English and at least one Scandinavian language
- Supply Chain and/or ICT experience is beneficial
- HR/Payroll/Workday experience is advantageous
- SAP-B1 or SAP-R3 skills, migration experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Cognos knowledge is a plus
