Job summary

Kongsberg Maritime in Norway seeks a Director Data & AI to shape enterprise direction and lead the transformation turning trusted data into measurable business value. You will own data strategy, governance, and the operating model, reporting to the SVP IT and contributing on the IT Leadership Team.

You will build scalable data platforms, ensure data ownership, privacy and security, drive responsible AI adoption, and align IT and business to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in Data, AI, Analytics, Digital or Technology with enterprise transformation track record.
• Experience developing and implementing enterprise Data & AI strategies and operating models.
• Strong understanding of modern data platforms, analytics, architecture and AI.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise Data & AI strategy and operating model.
• Build scalable data platforms, shared services and reusable data products.
• Establish governance for data ownership, quality, master data, access, security and compliance.
• Drive responsible and scalable adoption of analytics and AI with value-based prioritization.
• Build and lead Data & AI capabilities and collaborate across IT and business.
• Drive transformation and continuous improvement across Data & AI.
• Contribute to IT Leadership Team with governance and results responsibility.
