Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Norway seeks a Digital Engineer to transform engineering and asset information across the lifecycle, turning complex data into accessible insights for better decisions and streamlined processes.

You will implement and improve engineering information management solutions, govern data quality, and explore AI, digital twins and analytics to unlock measurable business value for major energy and industrial clients.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering, technology, or information-management background.
• Experience with, or strong interest in, engineering applications (Octave (Hexagon), Aveva, Engineering Base or Comos).
• An interest in digitalization, data and emerging technologies.
• Understanding of data structures, information flows, and/or engineering processes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate complex topics simply.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the implementation, configuration and improvement of engineering and asset information management solutions.
• Working with engineering data, documents, tags, equipment and other asset information.
• Analyzing and improving data flows and engineering processes.
• Defining requirements and translating business needs into digital solutions.
• Supporting configuration and administration of engineering applications and information management platforms.
• Working with integrations and data exchange.
• Contributing to data quality, governance, classification and information standards.
• Exploring technologies such as AI, automation, digital twins and advanced analytics.
• Working with clients to identify opportunities where digitalisation creates measurable business value.
