• Maintain and improve Workforce Planner in a cloud environment and automate deployments.
• Maintain technical documentation for installation and operations.

About the role

The open position is with our DDC PRS product team. We provide personnel- and workforce management solutions to health regions and municipalities. As a DevOps Engineer, you will have a close dialogue with our customers. Furthermore, you will work closely with our architects, developers and application specialists. It is important that you contribute to improving processes and further contribute to us creating solutions that meet the customers' needs and create value for them. We are looking for you who are outgoing, quality-conscious and work in a structured and systematic manner. Good communication skills both in writing and orally are a requirement.

In this role you will mainly:

• Install and upgrade Tieto Workforce Planner with associated applications in internal test environments and with existing and new customers.
• Carry out packaging, technical verification and delivery of new versions of the software.
• Help move on-prem infrastructure to cloud both internal as well as customer installations.
• Contribute to maintaining Workforce Planner in a cloud environment
• Improve and automate solutions for software packaging, delivery and deployment of the product.
• Maintain and improve technical documentation for installation of the solution.
• Maintain internal environments.
• Carry out migration of the solutions from old to new servers when customers upgrade infrastructure.
• Assist technical operations staff at the customer when necessary.

Secondary you will:

• Develop SQL scripts to meet the customer's needs for customized data extraction.
• Maintain and improve infrastructure for automated testing.
• Testing web service APIs.
• Optimize database queries.

It is an absolute requirement that you master both Norwegian and English fluently in writing and orally.

We are looking for someone with:

• 3-year education in ICT.
  • Relevant experience can compensate for a lack of formal education.
• Experience with:
  • Azure DevOps and pipelines.
  • Windows Server and management of rights, certificates.
  • IIS and configuration of web applications.
  • SQL Server and SQL script.
  • PowerShell / bat-scripting.
• Good communication skills

It would be beneficial if you also:

• Version management systems such as Git.
• Container frameworks such as Docker.
• Programming skills in C#.
• Testing web services with Bruno/Postman or similar tools.
• Infrastructure management on Azure.

AI knowledge requirement

AI literacy is expected for this role. You will be comfortable using approved AI tools to improve quality and productivity in everyday work (e.g., drafting, summarizing, analyzing, and automating routine tasks). You can write clear prompts/instructions, critically evaluate and validate AI outputs, and apply sound judgement when results are incomplete, biased, or incorrect. You understand and follow company policies and applicable legal/regulatory requirements for confidentiality, privacy, security, and responsible AI use (including not sharing sensitive data in unapproved tools).
